I’m not sure if you use the term… Heirloom for your kennels, but you should! I got my kennel about 6 years ago and never really thought about “the next dog”. Then in late 2021, we lost our 14-year-old Malinois. Looking at that empty kennel was difficult for awhile; but as luck would have it, we ran across another Malinois at a rescue that was in dire need of loving and caring. This girl has way more energy than our old Malinois! Granted, she’s only 3 1/2 years old. She loves her “hand-me-down” kennel and prefers to sleep there rather than on the bed. We’ll have her go into the kennel when we leave the house and she gets bored and grumpy sometimes. She decided to chew on the sliding door, not only tearing up the wood, but bending the metal bars. She was so efficient at bending the bars, she was able to squeeze her face between the gaps in the bars. I reached out to the team at Kennel and crate about this. They were able to make me a whole new door with increased structure and stronger bars. They were able to paint the door and it’s an exact match. Keeping in mind that the kennel is about 6 years old… I was absolutely amazed that they had the notes and were able to match the custom paint from that long ago. Thank you so very much to the entire team at Kennel and Crate. They go the “extra mile” each and every time. I’m so glad to have found such a great group that truly cares about their customers and their pets. This kennel will be in my family forever!
